Today marks exactly five years since I first noted symptoms of my cancer (had trouble swallowing my turkey). It’s also 4-1/2 years since my surgery. I’m happy to say that I’m healthy and active!
The big news now is that Natalie has given birth to Julian, our first grandson. Here I am with Julian at three months:
Natalie now lives just three miles from us!
Hi Doug, so good to hear from you. Your picture with Julian is wonderful. How lucky that Natalie lives so close snd you can watch him grow up. Being a grandparent is the best. Miss having you as my neighbor. You say how amazing your children’s lives have been. You are the amazing one!!!!! You have been through so much and your positive spirit and wonderful wife have helped you through it…… Bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃❤️❤️❤️Eleanor

Thanks so much! We hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well. We still miss Maple Lane!
Yes-sir-ee…You sure do have much to be thankful for: Little Julian is beautiful; your health is on a positive trajectory, and I hear you could possibly be playing on the “Bridge” circuit. May SPADES be with you, always…
Hope to see you soon…Mariann
