So Here’s the Poop: There isn’t any๐Ÿ™

But there might be soon. An enema will be given in 20 minutes.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž

Doug moved back to his original unit late this afternoon. He is in a semi-private room without a roommate at the moment. The doctors say he is doing well but it would be great if they can close his belly tomorrow. He has been sitting in a chair much of the day with an abdominal binder on. Stay tuned….

  1. Hang in there Doug. Easy for me to say. You look amazingly good for all you have been through. Have been thinking of you all week. Hope this weekend you have some positive results , more walks etc. you are a fighter no doubt about that. Pulling for you all the way . Love, Eleanor

  2. You guys, I just cannot even imagine what this week has been like for you. I HATE that anyone should have to endure such agony, but I especially hate that it’s happening to someone as wonderful and kind as you, Doug. I remain hopeful for news of great improvement soon and sending so many positive thoughts your way that I fear I may jam up the cosmic air waves!

    • Hi, Doug,
Kathy and I halfway through our 2 mo. sojourn, which has been marked by periodic DH musings – I wonder how Doug is doing.
Alvin sent me your blog(?) info, which I just visited for a good update.
I sympathize greatly with you as it all sounds painful and so uncomfortable, e. g. Belly open and In a recliner 24h/day! Hope you get properly closed up and a smooth running bowel soon.
You are needed in the ramparts of our upcoming anti-Trump battles. Onward and upward!
